Biographical history
Shelagh Lindsey was a former member of the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Manitoba. Lindsey was a close friend and former student of Marshall McLuhan.
Custodial history
The fonds was donated to University of Manitoba Archives & Special Collections by Shelagh Lindsey in 1980.
Scope and content
The fonds consists of papers written by several different authors, publications, photocopies of articles, book reviews newspaper clippings, class notes, transcripts of broadcasts and interviews, and Marshall McLuhan's Report to the U.S. Department of Health, Education and Welfare on Project in Understanding New Media.
