Biographical history
Jim Anderson was the first Archivist-Administrator of the Stratford-Perth Archives. In 1972 he was hired to process the first collections that would eventually form the Stratford-Perth Archives, the second oldest county archives in Ontario. Anderson remained Archivist-Administrator of this institution until he retired in 1991. Jim Anderson died in 1994.
Custodial history
In 1983, the collection was sent to University of Manitoba Archives & Special Collections by James Anderson, Archivist of the Stratford-Perth Archives in Stratford, Ontario.
Scope and content
The collection consists of seven postcards that depict early Winnipeg and Winnipeg Beach.
