Winnipeg Theatre Clippings collection
Collection consists of two ledger-sized scrapbooks of theatre-related clippings from Winnipeg newspapers from 1914 to 1927 and one smaller scrapbook listing, alphabetically, the people profiled in J. B. McGeachy’s “I First Saw” column in the Winnipeg Free Press from 1921-1929.
Winnipeg General Strike Collection
The collection consists of a scrapbook of newspaper clippings from both the Winnipeg Free Press and the Winnipeg Evening Tribune regarding the Winnipeg General Strike of 1919. The clippings are from May 27-29, June 2-3, 6, 10-13, 30 and July 1, 1919. One clipping is from November 20, 1965. One complete photocopy of the scrapbook is included.
The collection primarily consists of photographs of the environment around the Norway House Indian Residential School. Several images taken of individuals on a Curtiss Model F aircraft display the aircraft that was used for the first air mail run to Rossville. The collection also contains a receipt and postcards.

Survival Research Newsletters and Periodicals Collection
This collection was arranged in part by the transferring agent in accordance with specifications he provided. This collection consists of 218 newsletters, journals and other publications created by Spiritualist churches and organizations between the 1980s and 2011 which have been collected by the Survival Research Institute of Canada. The collection takes up 0.26 linear metres of shelf space and is fully textual. The items and folders were organized by the transfering agent and are divided by publication. Publications and papers bound together by staples, archival clips or other means were done so by the transfering agent and thus are treated as a single record, even those which contain what could be considered more than one document. The second accession (A15-139) consisted of less than 12 issues which were interfiled with the previous accession.

Spiritualist Hymnals and Manuals Collection
The first accession (A2011-65) was arranged in part by the transferring agent in accordance with specifications he provided. This particular collection consists of 15 spiritualist hymnals and manuals used by spiritualist organizations from 1921 onward. The hymnals and manuals are bound books and therefore do not have folders.
The second accession (2015-138) was created by Walter Meyer zu Erpen. It consists of 6 additional spiritualist hymnals and manuals used by spiritualist organizations from 1926 onward.

Seven Oaks General Hospital collection
This collection consists of 15 Hollinger boxes and 8 archival shoeboxes of material relating to the history of Seven Oaks General Hospital, including its construction and the construction of the hospital's Wellness Institute. Material relating to the construction and promotion of Seven Oaks and the Wellness Institute is also included in the collection. The majority of the photographs in this collection are of members of the hospital's staff and board members at events in and supporting the hospital. Also included in the collection are copies of the hospital's newsletters, VHS copies of local television programs featuring the hospital, and copies of speeches and other public relations material.
Seven Oaks General Hospital
The collection consists of an eleven page daily summary of the progress and devastation of the 1950 Red River flood and comparative analysis of other floods compiled by the Manitoba Department of Mines and Natural Resources, Water Resources Branch. It includes river levels in Fargo, Grand Forks, Emerson and Winnipeg, daily weather conditions, and daily summaries of activities.

The 8 images in cartes de visite format are as follows: Dominion Land Titles office (photographer unknown,1872-73); three First Nations individuals at an Aboriginal gravesite (Simon Duffin, 1873-1875?); early homestead building, family, and Red River Cart drawn by ox (Ryder Larsen, mid-1870s?); studio image of man posing as a hunter, Winnipeg (James Penrose, 1873?); Louis Riel and his councilors, (Ryder Larsen, 1869?); Red River settlement, showing the corner of Portage and Main (James Penrose, June 1872); land survey party, around the Red River Settlement (photographer and date unknown); two carioles drawn by dogs, possibly at the Red River settlement (photographer and date unknown).

The many scrapbooks constituting this collection of newspaper clippings are from various newspapers from 1892 through 2001. The topics covered in the clippings primarily relate to the history of the University of Manitoba. Some years include articles on other academic institutions.

Pierre Magne Collection (Beaconsfield Homesteads)
The collection consists of copies of letters to the Postmaster in Beaconsfield, Manitoba from John Boulton, dated January 20, 1925, to Jean Magne in Beaconsfield from John Boulton dated February 15, 1925, and to Paul Magne from John Boulton dated April 5, 1925. The letters discuss homesteading and homesteaders in Beaconsfield, Manitoba during the late nineteenth-century. A photocopy of a list of Beaconsfield postmasters is included. Also included in the collection is a photocopy of an autobiography by A. F. Willis (nee Boulton), the wife of John L. Willis, entitled The Days of My Pilgrimage [1972?].

The collection consists of five items--one photograph, three letters, and one newspaper clipping--relating to Eleanor Roosevelt.
Three of the envelopes bear the name of Mr. L. Ross Murray, 485 Wellington Crescent, Winnipeg 9, Manitoba. One is addressed to him at The Winnipeg Humane Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, 1059 Logan Avenue, Winnipeg 3, Manitoba. The photograph was mounted in a commercial quality gold-tone metal frame of 1960s vintage, which has been removed. There are 3 envelopes and one newspaper clipping which was inserted in back of the fame, discovered when the frame was dismantled. On the black cardboard backing for the easel frame is glued and taped a commercially printed address label for a Louise C. Wolfenden at Toronto.

The collection consists of printed material relating to the Co-operative Commonwealth Federation, the NDP, and other socialist organizations. This collection includes sing-along books, pamphlets, election handouts, and other assorted propaganda mediums. Some of the notable authors of this material are T.C. Douglas, Leon Trotsky, as well as anonymous authors of their respective organizations.

Machray Defalcation Scandal Collection
The fonds consists of two scrapbooks detailing University of Manitoba Bursar John A. Machray's embezzlement of $900,000 of the University's endowment fund. Each scrapbook contains articles about the scandal from the Winnipeg Tribune and the Manitoba Free Press.

The fonds consists of newspaper clippings, photographs, posters, research material, correspondence, journal entries, and negatives. Records include collections of articles and information related to missing and murdered persons in the Thunder Bay area, as well as in Northwestern Ontario and throughout Canada. Sharman also compiled clippings related to sex work, the Highway of Tears, the Robert Pickton trial, jail deaths, residential schools, child abuse, Tyrone Conn, foster care and adoption. Most of the material pertains to the Thunder Bay and Northwestern Ontario region but some of Sharman’s research also covers areas across Canada. The fonds further includes planning records and documentation related to walks held for missing and murdered women, records related to the Advocacy Committee for Human Experiment Survivors – Mind Control, research and workshop material, lists of missing and murdered persons, jail deaths, and assaults, and records related to organizations such as the Children’s Aid Society and the Native Women’s Association of Canada.

Louis Riel Letter to Pierre Lavallee
The letter is dated 1883 and is addressed to Monsieur Pierre Lavallée, Court Clerk of Marquette-East, Clerk and Treasurer of the Municipality of St. Francois Xavier. The letter congratulates Lavallée on his public position and encourages Lavallée to do his best to promote the interests of a favourable relationship between the Métis and French Canadians. Riel highlights the many qualities of the Métis and admirable qualities of French Canadians. Riel emphasizes the necessity of a good relationship with and the connections between the Métis and French Canadians.

Linda (Hamilton) Klassen Collection
This collection contains 4 unique photographs that complement the Hamilton Family fonds photograph collection, including a formal portrait of T.G. Hamilton from ca. 1904 (annotated “TGH aged 31”), and three copies of a photograph of T.G. and Lillian Hamilton sitting with spirit photographer William Hope in England in 1932 (2 marked, 1 annotated), as well as the envelope which contained these and other materials. This collection also includes a CD of scanned versions of these 4 photographs and 1 annotated reverse side.

The collection contains one textual record, correspondence from the Indian Residential School in Brandon, Manitoba dated January 27, 1936. The letter discusses the weather, the death of the Nation Matron, and the well-being of the replacement Matron.

The collection consists of eighteen black and white photographs of figures from the 1885 North-West Resistance. Fifteen of the photographs are originals (1869-1890) and three are photographs of photographs. Also included are four negatives of death certificates, the Charles Pelham Mulhavey book entitled The History of the North-West Rebellion of 1885, a telegram, a letter, and a photocopy.

The collection consists of postcards of the German occupation of Holland in 1940.
The fonds consists of records collected or created by John Crabb in his role as an art collector. The bulk of the records relate to the works of Walter Joseph Phillips. Records include copyright permissions, Christmas cards, publications, biographical information on Walter J. Phillips, photographs, newspaper clippings, reproductions, correspondence, including copies of Phillips’ personal correspondence, as well as promotional materials related to auctions and exhibits.
This collection consists of a hockey sweater, a fabric letter “E” and a 1998 reunion poster made up of old photographs.
