A2011-052 consists of various legal and financial documents reflecting the Association.

In addition to a variety of documents that supplement some of the series in A2011-052, the accession contains the by-laws, minutes and jubilee book of the Ukrainian Relief Society/Fraternal Association (“Vzaimna Pomich”) (1935-1968); a large number of cultural event programs (1917-1983); the texts of some of the most popular stage plays performed by UNHA drama circles during the interwar years; sheet music; a large scrapbook of posters and flyers advertising various cultural events (1913-1962); exhibit materials; artefacts (primarily plaques and awards presented to the UNHA); several original sketches and prints; and 36 large portrait and group photographs, including 2 framed, outsize collages featuring photos of every member of the Maria Zankovetska Educational and Drama Society (1917) and the Boyan Drama Society (1918).

The fonds consists primarily of photocopies of articles, documents, correspondence, photographs or artwork that the donor has acquired from various magazines, newspapers, books, associates and other archives and libraries. The vast majority of the collection relates to “Lost Horizon”, with a much smaller, though still significant, percentage relating to "Helen of Troy". Some of the collection falls outside the scope of either of the two aforementioned movies, being a collection of writings, photos and artwork relating to Hollywood and the movie industry in general, as well as California travel information and info on Tibet. The fonds is divided into the series “Lost Horizon” articles, “Lost Horizon” documents and research, personal effects, "Lost Horizon” publicity stills, “Lost Horizon” production photographs, “Lost Horizon” negatives, “Lost Horizon” art, “Helen of Troy”, related interests, oversized items, "Lost Horizon" microfilm, correspondence about “Lost Horizon”, “Lost Horizon” biographies, oversized photos of “Lost Horizon,” video collection associated with “Lost Horizon,” and audio cassette collection associated with “Lost Horizon”.

The "Lost Horizon" articles series contains newspaper, magazine and journal articles, as well as book excerpts, related to various "Lost Horizon" subjects, such as production, reception and cast and crew biographies. The "Lost Horizon" various articles series also features articles discussing James Hilton's other works. The “Lost Horizon” documents and research series contains various primary sources such as interviews, scripts, theatre programs and legal documents. The personal effects series contains content related to Ely Bronstein’s personal life such as correspondence and ephemera, though the vast majority of this material relates to “Lost Horizon”. The video collection associated with “Lost Horizon” series contains films based on other works by James Hilton or starring Ronald Colman, as well as information on Frank Capra’s life and his American Film Institute Life Achievement Award. The audio cassette collection associated with “Lost Horizon” series contains various primary sources such as interviews, theatre programs, soundtracks, prayers, and news reports. The next three series contain photographs of “Lost Horizon”, both publicity stills - scenes from the movie -slides, and production photos – pictures taken of the production processes or of members of the production crew. The negatives relating to “Lost Horizon” are reproduced photographic negatives, while the artwork contains movie posters and concept art. The “Helen of Troy” series contains material relating to that film, including articles, documents and publicity stills. The related interest series contains various articles and pictures related to Hollywood and the movie industry, as well as information about California and Tibet. All oversized items requiring larger boxes are included in the oversized items series. Lastly, the "Lost Horizon" microfilm series contains press books and visual representations of the film on 35mm microfilm. The items are all paper photocopies of their original formats, with the exceptions of a few original correspondences, a few original newspaper clippings, the negatives and the microfilm.

A2011-079 consists of print and digital drafts of MacDonald's published and unpublished work, notes, correspondence, and research pertaining to those works, scrapbooks containing clippings related to MacDonald and his work, audio cassettes containing radio plays written by MacDonald, DVD copies of the film adaptation of MacDonald's book Juliana and the Medicine Fish, and CD-RWs containing photographs and text documents.

A2012-002 consists of notebooks containing research for several of MacDonald's books; three photographs; personal correspondence; audio cassettes containing radio adaptations of MacDonald's works and messages from MacDonald's answering machine; a VHS copy of an American Experience episode about spiritualism and Harry Houdini; digital copies of notes, research, and drafts of MacDonald's work on floppy disks and a rewritable compact disc; medals received by MacDonald; and a cork from MacDonald's fortieth birthday celebration.

This fonds consists of Victor Deneka’s biographical information; correspondence, minute books, congress and conference reports, bulletins, newsletters, newspaper clippings, and a wide assortment of photographs and slides that reflect his activity as a founder and executive member of several Ukrainian-Canadian student (“Obnova,” “S.U.S.K.”), community (Ukrainian Canadian Committee/Congress, Ukrainian Canadian Foundation of Taras Shevchenko), academic (Ukrainian Free Academy of Arts and Sciences) and especially Ukrainian Catholic (Ukrainian Catholic Council of Canada, Ukrainian Catholic Brotherhood) organizations; research materials concerning Ukrainian church architecture in Canada; and publications and slides that chronicle his professional work as the designer and architect of Ukrainian Catholic churches in Manitoba. In particular, the fonds contain unique primary sources on the origins and history of the Ukrainian Catholic Council of Canada (and its affiliated organizations) from the mid-1940s through the early 1990s, and on the origins of the Ukrainian-Canadian student movement during the early 1950s.

The fonds consists of Dr. Joan Finkle de Peña’s manuscripts, articles and lecture notes pertaining to her academic teaching career at St. Louis University, and the University of Manitoba. The fonds also consists of material pertaining to her research in Puerto Rico when she was a graduate student, as well as a her academic research work with her studies of the Inuit of the North, during her tenure as a faculty member with the Department of Anthropology, University of Manitoba. In addition there are textual records pertaining to her involvement with various national and international professional associations, including the Sigma Xi Scientific Society. The collection also contains a total of 4624 photographs, 90 negatives, and 1,125 photo slides.

The initial collection consists of several hundred unpublished poems written by Margaret Avison between 1935 and the late 1970s. The second accession, received in 1996, consists of correspondence from various literary associates between the 1950s and the mid-1990s. In several instances other writers and poets send samples of their work for Avison's comments. There is a lengthy correspondence between Avison and the American poet Fredrick Bock. The Collection includes two theses about the works of Margaret Avison and several of her unpublished essays and poems.

The third accrual consists of photographs, audiotapes, and material relating to Avison's work such as worksheets, manuscripts, published copies, and reviews. It also includes correspondence from the 1980s to 2001.

A2008-021 consists of Dr. Stella Hryniuk's manuscripts, articles and lecture notes on Galicia and multiculturalism; the material regarding her academic activities as an International Liaison Officer at the University of Manitoba and a facilitator for the projects in Ukraine; the material regarding her involvement with the Ukrainian Canadian Community; and the research material on Galicia.

A2015-122 consists of copies of scholarly articles, graduate student course papers, book reviews, University of Manitoba History department pamphlets, and other materials collected by Stella Hryniuk during and after her years as a graduate student. It also contains copies of her Doctoral Dissertation (University of Manitoba, 1984), the Doctoral dissertation of her partner, Professor Frederick G. Stambrook (University of London, 1960), and a copy of her commemorative book “Holy Family Home: The First 50 Years” (2007). Correspondence concerning Stella Hryniuk’s interest in genealogy, and materials related to her activity in the Ukrainian-Canadian community are also included.

The A2018-030 accession is divided into 7 series: Artists, Electronic Records, Interviews, Photographs, Publications, Research and Slides. The contents of this fonds contains information pertaining to the work that Marie Bouchard carried out throughout her 11 years in Baker Lake. The Artist series includes material pertaining to individuals such as Jessie Oonark and Marion Tuu’luq, detailing information related to various exhibitions they participated in. The series of interviews conducted by Marie Bouchard throughout the 1990s chronicles the lives and artistic practice of several different Baker Lake artists, while the Photographs and Slides series include many different examples of the type of artwork being produced in Baker Lake. The collection also includes different types of publications concerning artist’s perspectives on their own work, exhibitions, and the important issue of Indigenous representation in artistic spaces

His translations include novels by Laszlo Nagy, Miguel Angel Asturias and Maria Krisztinkovich, and poetry by Ferenc Juhasz, Gyorgy Petri and Miklos Radnoti to name but a few.

This DVD contains a documentary about the “Philip” experiments conducted by the Toronto Society for Psychical Research (TSPR) in the 1970s, led by A.R.G. (George) and Iris Owen, as well as a Victoria-based table-tilting group. It includes the only commercial quality footage of the table phenomena experienced by that group, in the home of Walter Meyer zu Erpen.

The records of this fonds have been arranged in their original form, retaining the file/binder inscriptions as file titles in the finding aid. The fonds consists of the scrapbooks (central records) comprise the first series in the collection. Records created by Past Presidents of the Alumnae are found in the second series. Committee records, which were kept separately from the Central Records, form the third series. The forth series, General Records, group items generated by some officers/members in an official capacity. As such, it follows the same functional principle as series two and three, but uses thematic file titles. The last two series, however, are artificially created subject files formed from scattered records in the accessions and memorabilia. Photographs and posters not contained in the scrapbooks have been transferred to Photograph Collection (Pc 290, A.09-91) which also contains Alpha Omega Alumnae's 50th Anniversary Album. The audio recordings have been transferred to Tape Collection (TC 150, A.09-91).
