The fonds consists of two 16 mm film reels of a 1935 rally in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan of the Canadian Ukrainian Youth Association (C.Y.M.K.). The films offer individual and group footage of young Ukrainians from the western region as well as scenes of the prairie city in the mid-1930s. There are some striking frames of the delegates participating in mass calisthenics.

The fonds consists of audiocassette recordings, as well as typed transcripts and tape summaries, of the oral history project titled "Born Between the Wars: Growing up Lesbian in Manitoba Before and After WW II. An Oral History". Interviews were conducted with Anne Hiebert, Jane Smith (pseudonym), Ruth Sells, Pearl Wylie, Margaret Gunn, and Marianne (AKA Marion) Clemens between 2006 and 2009 and donated to the University of Manitoba Archives & Special Collections in April 2011.

The Sandra Barz fonds details over forty years of dedication to documenting Inuit artist biographies, the evolution of printmaking, and encouraging growing interest for Inuit art worldwide. She also documents the recognition given by governments to Indigenous art and culture with her collection of stamps from Europe, Greenland, United States, and Canada. The accrual (A13-44) is divided into 12 series. They include biographical information, publishing, travel, consulting, speeches and conferences, correspondence, a stamp collection, research materials, and oversized items. The photograph collection includes 746 slides, 750 negatives, 3177 photographs, 14 contact sheets, 1 Compact Disc, 20 VHS Video Cassettes, 1 map, 20 - 3.25" zip discs, and 30 - 5.25" floppy discs. There are 18 microfiche sheets included.

The A2018-008 accession contains correspondence; art catalogues and brochures; photographs, slides and photocopies of prints, artists and communities; records related to artworks and artists including price lists, promotional material, newspaper clippings, artist biographies, descriptions of artwork and disc lists. It also includes electronic records containing images of Sandra Barz's travels and of various print collections and a series of over-size items. The accession contains 865 photographs; 1733 slides; 7 negative strips; 6 CD-ROM; 1 external (thumb) drive.

This fonds consists of drafts of and correspondence relating to Sarah Klassen's poetry, short stories, and literary reviews, including material written as a student. Tearsheets of her published work are included. Additionally, copies of Sophia magazine, of which Klassen was editor from 1992-1995, are included in this fonds, as are copies of other periodicals and newsletters for which she wrote. Material relating to two musical works based on Klassen's poetry is included in the collection.

Seven Oaks General Hospital collection

This collection consists of 15 Hollinger boxes and 8 archival shoeboxes of material relating to the history of Seven Oaks General Hospital, including its construction and the construction of the hospital's Wellness Institute. Material relating to the construction and promotion of Seven Oaks and the Wellness Institute is also included in the collection. The majority of the photographs in this collection are of members of the hospital's staff and board members at events in and supporting the hospital. Also included in the collection are copies of the hospital's newsletters, VHS copies of local television programs featuring the hospital, and copies of speeches and other public relations material.

The fonds consists of a collection of approximately 90 hours of 70 taped interviews conducted by Sheila Rabinovitch from 1970 to 1981. The broadcasts range from partial programs to complete and final ones as aired on CBC Radio. Broadcast topics included such prominent historic Winnipeg personalities as Ralph Connor (a pseudonym for Reverend Charles William Gordon), Judge Lewis St. George Stubbs, and lawyer John MacAulay. Other topics include art and the Establishment, the double standard of women and aging, Manitoba small town newspapers, bridge as an obsession, the ethnic recording industry in Canada, women in Judaism, Virginia Satir and her views on family therapy, mandatory retirement, Hans Selye, ethnic groups in Manitoba, and fashion trends.

The second accession, A13-109, consists of a collection of 14 audio reels containing interviews and recordings conducted by Sheila Rabinovitch from approximately 1970 to 1981. Also included is a portion of textual research related to the taped interviews in both accessions. Furthermore, a small amount of textual material related to her personal and professional life are included, such as CBC contracts and documents related to her art collection and philanthropic interests. Broadcast and research subjects include prominent Manitoba personalities such as Ken Leishman, Ralph Connor (Rev. William Gordon), E. Cora Hind, Judge Lewis St. George Stubbs, John W. Dafoe, and others that contributed to the artistic, cultural and social environment.
