The collection consists predominantly of financial statements and stock certificates of the Winnipeg Grain & Produce Exchange Clearing Association. The collection contains correspondence of Association management with other members, financial institutions and government departments. Also, the general activities of the Association are documented through minute books and other textual records pertaining to annual general meetings.

The collection consists of financial statements, notices of meetings, correspondence, agendas, proxies, minutes, applications, membership listings, draft agreements, memorandums, and by-laws concerning the Winnipeg Commodity Clearing Ltd. The material predominantly concerns the transition of the commodity clearing responsibilities for the Winnipeg Commodity Exchange from the Winnipeg Commodity Clearing Ltd. to the Canadian Derivatives Clearing Corporation and the subsequent dissolution of the WCCL.

A2012-75 contains audio cassettes with material on Andrew Taylor and "Wild Harmony interviews". A2012-106 of the William O. Pruitt Jr. fonds contains correspondence and research materials, copies of journal articles and presentation materials, photographs, slides, a VHS cassette, a 16 mm film reel, and a map.

The fonds consists of textual records, publications, maps, plans, and ephemera that document Hunt's education and career as a civil engineer in Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Textual records and some maps relating to his service as a major in the Canadian militia are also included in the fonds. The records document Hunt's education in engineering at the University of Manitoba in the early 1900s. His work in engineering is also documented, particularly through maps, including the Falcon Lake Park, highways construction, irrigation systems, and others. His service in the military led him to document the history of various rifle regiments, the Officer Training Corps, and field engineering military training, which provides particularly valuable information on the period between the World War I and World War II military training. His interest in the Hudson Bay Railway supplies a rich documentation on the subject. Some of the ephemera Hunt collected over the years will be of particular interest. The material will be especially valuable for historical research in the history of engineering in Manitoba and Canadian military history.

This fonds consists of Victor Deneka’s biographical information; correspondence, minute books, congress and conference reports, bulletins, newsletters, newspaper clippings, and a wide assortment of photographs and slides that reflect his activity as a founder and executive member of several Ukrainian-Canadian student (“Obnova,” “S.U.S.K.”), community (Ukrainian Canadian Committee/Congress, Ukrainian Canadian Foundation of Taras Shevchenko), academic (Ukrainian Free Academy of Arts and Sciences) and especially Ukrainian Catholic (Ukrainian Catholic Council of Canada, Ukrainian Catholic Brotherhood) organizations; research materials concerning Ukrainian church architecture in Canada; and publications and slides that chronicle his professional work as the designer and architect of Ukrainian Catholic churches in Manitoba. In particular, the fonds contain unique primary sources on the origins and history of the Ukrainian Catholic Council of Canada (and its affiliated organizations) from the mid-1940s through the early 1990s, and on the origins of the Ukrainian-Canadian student movement during the early 1950s.

This accession consists of two parts: 1/Victor Deneka’s architectural drawings for virtually all of the buildings – Ukrainian Catholic churches, administrative buildings, and social centres; Ukrainian-Canadian secular institutions; commercial and industrial buildings; and residential buildings – that he designed, as well as technical specifications, and legal and financial materials, for several major projects. It also includes some plans for buildings designed by other architects. 2/ Materials collected by Deneka for his unfinished project on Ukrainian-Canadian church architecture. These include photographs, photo sheets and display boards, photo transparencies, postcards and textual materials.

In addition to a variety of documents that supplement some of the series in A2011-052, the accession contains the by-laws, minutes and jubilee book of the Ukrainian Relief Society/Fraternal Association (“Vzaimna Pomich”) (1935-1968); a large number of cultural event programs (1917-1983); the texts of some of the most popular stage plays performed by UNHA drama circles during the interwar years; sheet music; a large scrapbook of posters and flyers advertising various cultural events (1913-1962); exhibit materials; artefacts (primarily plaques and awards presented to the UNHA); several original sketches and prints; and 36 large portrait and group photographs, including 2 framed, outsize collages featuring photos of every member of the Maria Zankovetska Educational and Drama Society (1917) and the Boyan Drama Society (1918).

The Thistledown Press Photograph Collection consists mainly of authors' photographs as they appeared in the published books. In some cases there are photographs which were used in the book itself. The collection is fairly complete until the early-1980s. The records indicate at the beginning of press, author's and book photographs were retained, but by the early-1980s, they were routinely returned to authors.

The accession contains materials concerning two dimensions of Sylvia Todaschuk’s career: 1/ her participation in various Winnipeg-based Ukrainian-Canadian community organizations (the Ukrainian Canadian Committee/Congress, 1980-2010) and events (the Folklorama Kiev Pavilion (1976-84), Ukrainian Week (1979-80), the Ukrainian-Canadian Centennial Committee (1990-1992) and 2/ her participation, primarily as a board member, in various mainstream cultural and business organizations (the Folk Arts Council of Winnipeg, Inc., the Citizenship Council of Manitoba, Selkirk Avenue Business Association/Selkirk Avenue Business Improvement Zone [SABA/SABiz], Winnipeg Business Improvement Zone Association [Winnipeg B.I.Z.], and the North End Community Renewal Corporation [NECRC]. The fonds includes letters written to both Steve Snyder and Guy Maddin, pages from a diary Mr. Snyder kept while on the set of Heart of the World, a treatment for Cowards Bend the Knee, and articles and reviews of Mr. Maddin's work. There are 55 photographs, mainly taken by Mr. Snyder on the sets of Mr. Maddin's films. There are also 73 videocassettes with footage from the filming of Dracula, The Saddest Music in the World, and other recent films by, or featuring, Guy Maddin. Two audio cassettes are also included in this accession.
