Sauer & Matthias Zimmer, New York: Peter Lang, 1998. A Chorus of Different Voices was based on a workshop that took place in Edmonton in October 1996 with the support of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the German-Canadian Studies Foundation, Winnipeg, the University of Alberta's Faculty of Arts, and the German-Canadian Business and Professional Association of Alberta. The articles are "Deconstructing German-Canadian Identity" by Matthias Zimmer, "As I Experienced Them Myself: The Autobiographical German-language Immigrant Woman in Prairie Canada, 1874- 1910" by Royden Loewen, and "The 'Ideal German Canadian': Politics, Academics and the Historiographical Construction of German-Canadian Identity" by Angelika E. The second folder contains a German newspaper article from the Kanada Kurier, dated September 30, 1999. The article, written in German, is entitled "Denkmalschutz und Ehrengrab: Dr. F.
