The fonds consist of 6 ledger books used by United Grain Growers in the management of their property in the three Prairie Provinces. The ledgers are generally organized by province, and then locale alphabetically. The buildings include elevators, warehouses and any other structure used by the company. Entries focus on the payment of mortgages and the cost of repairs and improvements.

The collection contains manuscripts, correspondence and research materials relating to the two books The Road Well Kept: Branksome Hall Celebrates 100 Years and Driving Force, My Life With Birds as well as several of Robertson's other projects between 1971 and 2001. It also includes 11 audio cassettes and 17 audio reels.

The collection consists sound recordings mainly of interviews, poetry readings, memoirs, music, and recordings of CBC and BBC radio programs.

The collection consists of biographical material, correspondence, drafts, and versions of Livesay's writings of all genres. Over half of the Livesay collection consists of papers that are strictly non-literary yet directly related to her life and work. This material is divided into five categories: autobiographical, biographical, bibliographical, business papers regarding her writing and her personal business papers. The remainder of the manuscript collection consists of plays, reviews, poems, short stories, essays, talks and addresses, and memoirs.

The collection consists of audio tapes of poetry readings, memoirs, interviews, music, and recordings of CBC programs.

The fonds is divided into eighteen series biographical information, family correspondence, correspondence, bibliographical information, reviews, Livesay's notes, Book-Journey With Myselves, short stories, essays & articles, poetry drafts, business papers, academic material, talks & addresses, organizations & associations, articles (mainly for newspapers, programs, pamphlets & publisher's calendar, newspaper articles of interest and writing by others.

A2012-086 consists of VHS tapes, Betamax tapes, Betacam tapes, U-matic tapes, Hi-8 tapes, 16-mm film reels, 16-mm audio reels, audio tapes, and 4 digital audio tapes from the production of the films "The Will to Win" ("La rage de vaincre") and "Moment of Light - The Dance of Evelyn Hart," as well as some material related to the films "I am the Hornblower," "Harawi," and “In Hidden Gardens,” directed by Reeve.

The accession consists of copies of scholarly articles, graduate student course papers, book reviews, University of Manitoba History department pamphlets, and other materials collected by Stella Hryniuk during and after her years as a graduate student. It also contains copies of her Doctoral Dissertation (University of Manitoba, 1984), the Doctoral dissertation of her partner, Professor Frederick G. Stambrook (University of London, 1960), and a copy of her commemorative book “Holy Family Home: The First 50 Years” (2007). Correspondence concerning Stella Hryniuk’s interest in genealogy, and materials related to her activity in the Ukrainian-Canadian community are also included.

The photographs and other graphic materials collection consists of 22 colour photographs, sixteen negatives, 141 colour slides, 7 miscellaneous graphic materials, 24 oversized cell illustrations and seven video cassettes. The film collection contains tiny trims from the film “Vind Hammen,” and 156 rolls of film. The Recorded Music and Interviews collection consists of 2 compact disks and nine audio cassettes. The electronic collection consists of 17 floppy disks.
