The series consists of the minutes of the Arts Council meeting on April 8, 1969, as well as minutes of the Faculty Council of Arts and Science from April 14 and 28, 1969. A document describing the decision to include students as voting members on the Faculty Council of Arts and Science is included. The Interim Report for the information of the Faculty of Arts and Science prepared by the Joint Review Committee, revised April 28, 1969, is also included. The series also consists of a memorandum titled Library Support for Developing Ph.D. Programs by Professor H.C. Pentland.

The series consists of minutes of the Arts Faculty Council dating November 27, 1973, Februay 12, 1974, March 6, 1974, April 8, 1974, and May 28, 1975. Information on the election of council members to the University senate, council by-laws, professor and course evaluations, and academic evaluations of student course work is also included.

The fonds includes committee minutes and reports, board minutes, course offerings, budgets, and correspondence with the Banff School of Advanced Management and other business and community organizations. The records also include interdepartmental correspondence, Dean's Council and Faculty Council minutes, and correspondence related to academic staff.
Faculty of Management
The fonds contains records related to curriculum development, clinical work and facilities, conferences, institutes, and communications between the School of Nursing and non-university organizations such as the Association of Registered Nurses. The fonds also contains Faculty Council minutes, budget information, faculty committee minutes, correspondence and reports, as well as material related to nursing training organized through the Division of Continuing Education. The tape collection consists of audio recordings of minutes of the Advanced Clinical Studies for Community Health Nurses Coordinating Committee and a presentation of new curriculum in Brandon, Manitoba.

Faculty of Physical Education and Recreational Studies fonds
The fonds consists of records of athletic associations, budgets, curricula, staff, Department of Physical Education on Intramural Sports records, correspondence, and statistics of the University of Manitoba Bison and Bisonette sports teams. It also contains minutes of the Athletic Council, Dean's Council, and School and Faculty of Physical Education and Recreational Studies Councils. The photograph collection consists of 1064 photographs of University of Manitoba sports teams and 84 films depicting University of Manitoba Bison basketball and football games.

The fonds is organized in series pertaining to the administrative and program units which have existed within the Division. Public Affairs Newspaper Clippings Collection
The many scrapbooks constituting this collection of newspaper clippings are from various newspapers from 1892 through 2001. The topics covered in the clippings primarily relate to the history of the University of Manitoba. Some years include articles on other academic institutions.

University Relations and Information Office fonds
The fonds consists of press releases issued by the University Relations and Information Office (UA 16) and a large and growing number of photographs and video-cassettes. The photograph collection (PC 6, PC 80) consists of 2743 photographs depicting life on the Fort Garry and Bannatyne campuses. PC 31 and PC 34 consists of 80 video-cassettes depicting University of Manitoba convocation ceremonies. The numerous tape collections (TC 6, 8, 12-14, 16, 18, 22, 27, 29, 30, 52-56) consist of audio recordings of convocation ceremonies.
