The collection consists of two letter “M’s”; a University of Manitoba crest showing the staff of Caduceus; a University of Manitoba varsity crest showing a downhill skier; the program for the Medicine class of 1948 farewell party; and a program for a dinner party at the Chateau Laurier for University of Manitoba alumni in the Ottawa area in 1959.

Fonds contains one hockey goaltender stick used by Art Puttee while goalie for the Canadian hockey team (the University of Manitoba Grads) that won the 1931 World Championships in Krynica, Poland. Handwritten on one side of the handle is the text, "Winners of Turnbull Cup (Manitoba Champ), Abbott Cup (Western Canada Champ), Ross Robertson Memorial Cup (Canadian Champ). Played 21 games, won 17, tied 3, lost 1." On the outer edge of the handle is the text, "Total goals - for 113 - against 36." Other side of the handle has Art Puttee's signature. Signatures of other players are partially visiable across other parts of the stick; legible names include Doupe, Murdoch, and Chapman.

The fonds is related to Evan and Mary MacPherson’s instigation and recording of many séances during the period 1933 to 1936 as well as recordings and transcriptions of a number of séances from 1939 to 1952. In addition the fonds contains recordings of Mary MacPhersons personal musings, reflections and inspirational writings throughout the early 1960s. The records are in various formats including handwritten notebooks and loose pages, typed pages, newspaper clippings, published material, lists of spirit visitors, poetry, correspondence, printing on squares of fabric and artwork and channeling on index cards. The majority of the records are from séances held in their home in Winnipeg.

The fonds consists of farm records, legal documents, geneaological information, diaries, photographs, and memorabilia pertaining to the Jellis family farm. The material contains a variety of land deeds and titles, oil leases and indentures, grain Permit Books, bills and receipts for farm equipment, and diary entries relating to the Jellis's agricultural operation which complements the repository's other holdings and will interest anyone involved in agricultural research, particularly in Southwest Manitoba. Six letters between an American and Canadian Jellis cousin during World War I are of particular interest.

The fonds contains correspondence, assorted news clippings, a photo album, and typed drafts of his published manuscripts: Sarah Binks, Tower of Siloam, Willows Revisited, Doubting Castle and For the Birds. Included is an original typescript with revisions of Here Lies Sarah Binks, a stage production produced in Toronto by Don Harron in 1970. Two manuscripts of unpublished works are also included in the fonds. The photograph collection consists of 391 photographs documenting Paul Hiebert's life and career.

Manitoba Cattle Producers Association fonds
The fonds consists of the Manitoba Cattle Producers Association's records, in its many different incarnations, and other related material dating as far back as 1924. The records consist of correspondence, memorandums, news releases, committee minutes and agendas, reports, directories and membership lists, journals and articles, surveys and results, handbooks, pamphlets, regulations, symposium proceedings, resolutions, by-laws, commissions and acts, newsletters, speeches, financial records, taxation records, promotional correspondence, and policies and records of affiliated associations and government agencies. In addition to these textual records, the collection also contains photographs, videotapes, a filmstrip, and computer diskettes.

The collection contains 58 unpublished research papers submitted to Professor Peterson by his leading students between 1976 and 1991 on the broad subject of Manitoba political studies. Topics addressed include the following: the Manitoba Development Corporation (1958-1974); business development; labour and the Provincial Government (1919-1991); pay equity legislation, its history and implementation; automobile insurance; history of the Legislative Assembly and Cabinet; low income housing and rent control; Manitoba Telephone System; Hydro; the welfare system; and farmland ownership.
The fonds consists of subject notes taken by Parkinson while he was a student at the Manitoba Agricultural College 1911-1916, a list of Manitoba Agricultural College graduates from 1908-1955, Manitoba Agricultural College and Faculty of Agriculture publications, as well as mementos from the Agricultural College's Golden Jubilee in 1956 and the Diamond Jubilee of the Faculty of Agriculture in 1966. Photographs from Parkinson's time at the Manitoba Agricultural College are included in the photograph collection.

The fonds is divided into three series. A single article about Suzanne Muir, her sister and Reverend Wood comprises the biographical series. The second series contains lectures that Suzanne Muir gave at the Spiritualist Church that congregated at the International Odd Fellows Hall. The third series is comprised of newspaper clippings and published articles that Muir used for research purposes.

Indigenous Languages of Rupert's Land Collection
The collection consists of ephemeral publications and audio recordings related to the Indigenous languages of Rupert's Land. Many of these were originally produced for language instruction and included teacher's manuals, readers, workbooks, curriculum guides, journals, reference materials, proceedings, and monographs. There are also materials published by missionary groups and religious societies for classroom teaching and services.

The fonds consists of four series. The first series consists of newspaper clippings about Kathleen Rice. Because of the condition of these clippings, they have been photocopied. The second series consists of an exerpt about Kathleen Rice from a book about female adventurers. It is an incomplete copy of the chapter. The third series consists of manuscripts written by Kathleen Rice. The fourth series consists of two drawings of nature scenes that may possibly be attributed to Kathleen Rice.

This fonds consists of records relating to the daily functions of the Post family farm. Materials include account books and receipts documenting grain and livestock production, Canadian Wheat Board permit books, as well as federal and municipal tax returns and receipts, and notices of land assessments. Financial records such as lease and mortgage papers are also included. The fonds also contains a small collection of personal correspondence. In addition, there exists correspondence between Stephen Post and both the Agricultural College at the University of Manitoba and the Department of Agriculture's Dominion Experimental Farms related to Mr. Post's participation in wheat sample experiments from 1927-1929.
