The fonds is divided into two series: Professional Notes recorded by E. V. Caton and L.A. Bateman’s photographs. In total the photograph collection consists of 666 photographs, 73 lantern slides, and 110 negatives.

The 2007 accession (A.07-68) contains publications and financial records of the United Grain Growers Ltd., as well as some annual reports of Public Press Ltd., a subsidiary of U.G.G.

Finally, the collection includes 1546 slides, 676 photographs, 31 sheets of negatives, 10 VHS tapes, 19 audiocassette tapes, 1 DVD, and 2 CDs, most of which document the activities (including annual meetings) of United Grain Growers Ltd.

The ledgers are generally organized by province, and then locale alphabetically. The buildings include elevators, warehouses and any other structure used by the company. Entries focus on the payment of mortgages and the cost of repairs and improvements.

This accession of the fonds consists of print and digital drafts of MacDonald's published and unpublished work, notes, correspondence, and research pertaining to those works, scrapbooks containing clippings related to MacDonald and his work, audio cassettes containing radio plays written by MacDonald, DVD copies of the film adaptation of MacDonald's book Juliana and the Medicine Fish, and CD-RWs containing photographs and text documents.

This accession of the fonds consists of notebooks containing research for several of MacDonald's books; three photographs; personal correspondence; audio cassettes containing radio adaptations of MacDonald's works and messages from MacDonald's answering machine; a VHS copy of an American Experience episode about spiritualism and Harry Houdini; digital copies of notes, research, and drafts of MacDonald's work on floppy disks and a rewritable conpact disc; medals received by MacDonald; and a cork from MacDonald's fortieth birthday celebration.

The fonds consists of Dr. Stella Hryniuk's manuscripts, articles and lecture notes on Galicia and multiculturalism; the material regarding her academic activities as an International Liaison Officer at the University of Manitoba and a facilitator for the projects in Ukraine; the material regarding her involvement with the Ukrainian Canadian Community; and the research material on Galicia.

This accession contains a photograph album with photos, newspaper clippings, programs from school events in the 1930s and other documents, as well as loose photographs and baby books for T.G. and Lillian Hamilton's twins, Arthur Lamont (1915-1918) and James Drummond (1915-1980). It also includes the Forrester family prayer book (printed in 1771).

The second accession derives from Lillian Hamilton and James D. Hamilton’s personal records, including psychical research publications, photographs and files pertaining to some of T.G. Hamilton’s psychic experiments, and a file on family genealogy.
