2004-025 contains personal and professional correspondence of Dr. Buller’s. It also contains hand painted wall charts created by and under the direction of Buller for use in his classes and lectures.

2004-096 contains numerous objects used for scientific experiments and imaging by Dr. Buller. There are also numerous glass lantern slides which he used for lectures and teaching.

2013-134 involves Buller’s cremation and his remains. The urn is enclosed in the Tyndall stone monument in front of the Buller Biological Laboratories at the University of Manitoba Fort Garry campus. The plaque in this accession was previously installed at the Cereal Research Centre where Buller’s remains were held.

2013-143 consists of a wide range of ephemera and documents from Buller. It includes attendee pins and luggage tags as well as several maps, correspondence and drafts relating to Fungi of Manitoba, and Buller’s applications for several teaching positions from the early 1900s.

2014-003 consists primarily of lithographed wall charts purchased by Buller for teaching during his tenure at the University. There are also court records from a real estate dispute and a poem.

The fonds consists of three manuscripts of student summer theses in Engineering titled: A Treatise on plain and reinforced concrete arches, by Andrew Mar in 1926; A Study of ductility and its relationship to stress concentration in a simple single-pin connection, by D.H. Maclean in 1944; and The Internal combustion engine, by Lawrence Labow in 1931. PC 38 includes four photographs depicting substation equipment of electrically operated coal docks.

The fonds consists of lecture notes and exam solutions for Dynamics of Machines, an Engineering course taught by Norman Macleod Hall from 1923 to 1945. The fonds contains two folders. Folder 1 contains lecture notes on steam and gas engines. Folder 2 contains lecture notes, machine blueprints and exam solutions. N.M. Hall also wrote a 15 page pamphlet entitled "Report on Winnipeg Heating Company Limited" in 1932. This pamphlet is stored in MSS 90, Box 4, Folder 2, Item 1.

The collection consists of one recruitment poster. The dimensions of the poster are 45.5 x 35.5 cm.

The fonds consists of personal and professional papers, photographs, tapes, and clinical records and studies dating from 1936 to 1979. The papers deal with diseases affecting newborns and children, and genetic and anthropological blood group studies. An almost complete reprint collection of Dr. Chown's publications form an important part of the collection. The collection will be of interest to a variety of specialists, immunologists, pediatricians, hematologists, pathologists, and medical historians.

The fonds are comprised of 4 series. They include negatives, aerial photos of towns, aerial photos of Hutterite Colonies & electronic records.

The fonds consists of two series: textual records and photographs. The textual records series is comprised of two letters mounted on cardboard and signed by Dwight D. Eisenhower as Supreme Commander, Allied Expeditionary Force, photocopies of two maps of England and Germany, a four-part typewritten memoir of the donor's war-time experiences, and a partial list providing captions for the photographic series. The photographic series is comprised of 39 monochrome photographs (each 16.5 x 23 cm) taken and printed by the donor. Each photograph is mounted on 29 x 36 cm card-stock on which brief captions have been written in pencil.

The fonds consists of Don T. Willigan's article to the March 24, 1945 Winnipeg Tribune "Your Opinion" column: "Brodway vs Fort Garry". It also consists of correspondence, various invoices from the social events organized by the student organization, the University of Manitoba handbooks, student directories (1944-1946), and various Faculty of Agriculture pamphlets and forms.

The fonds contains 38 glass plate negatives of scientists' portraits, which Professor Anderson used in his classes. They include Archimedes, Galileo, Benjamin Franklin, and Albert Einstein. The fonds also contains Anderson's obituary.

The fonds consists of several copies of the entire publication run of the Winnipeg Citizen (May 19 - June 20, 1919), an anti-labour newspaper published by the the Citizens' Committee of 1000. Also included in the fonds is the initial edition (March 1, 1948) of the 1948-1949 version of the Winnipeg Citizen.

The fonds consists of twelve pocket diaries for the years 1922, 1927, 1932-1934, 1936-1940, and 1947-1948. The diaries contain notes about work completed on the railway. The collection contains correspondence on the classification of Manitoba fungi dating 1920-1949. Most of the letters to Bisby are from Canadian, American, and British mycologists commenting on specimens that he had sent them.

The fonds is divided into three series. 40 photographs depict Lake Winnipeg and Northern Manitoba from 1915-1930. The second series of 19 black and white photographs is of the 1950 flood in Winnipeg. The third series is a single photograph of the donor's father teaching school in Greenridge, Manitoba in the 1890s.

The collection consists of an eleven page daily summary of the progress and devastation of the 1950 Red River flood and comparative analysis of other floods compiled by the Manitoba Department of Mines and Natural Resources, Water Resources Branch. It includes river levels in Fargo, Grand Forks, Emerson and Winnipeg, daily weather conditions, and daily summaries of activities.

The fonds consists of five series. They include IODE minutes, Holland Observer and Western Prairie newsclipping scrapbooks, IODE annual reports, IODE correspondence and newsclippings, and a postcard scrapbook.

The collection primarily contains the papers and proceedings of Tarr's involvement with various Institutes, including: the Institute of Pacific Relations; the Royal Institute of International Affairs; the Canadian Institute of International Affairs; the American Institute of Pacific Relations; the British Commonwealth Relations Conference; and the Conference of North Atlantic Relations.

Also included is correspondence regarding the publication Pacific Affairs.

Publications of the different Institutes have been removed and separately cataloged.

The fonds consists of one scrapbook containing postcards, letters, invitations, memorabilia, and photographs depicting life at Manitoba Agricultural College. PC 99 illustrates portraits and in situ shots of Charlotte Black and her sister, Elinor.

The accession consists almost exclusively of photographs (and post cards) chronicling the private life of the Martynec family in Paris (1935-1941), German-occupied western Ukraine (1941-1944), the Karlsfeld and Berchtesgaden Displaced Persons camps in Germany (1945-1948), and in Winnipeg (1949-1951). Family members dated and identified most photographs. Apart from several 1941 Paris photographs of Olia Konovalets, widow of assassinated OUN founder and leader Evhen Konovalets (1891-1938), who fell victim to Soviet agent Pavel Sudoplatov in Rotterdam, there are virtually no photographs reflecting the political activities of Volodymyr Martynec during the years prior to 1945. The Displaced Person camp photographs, and those chronicling the family’s first years in Winnipeg, reflect their extensive participation in Ukrainian community life, and to a lesser extent political involvement. Photographs of close and more distant relatives and friends (in western Ukraine, Brazil, Canada, the United Kingdom and the USA) also make up a small part of the collection.

The fonds consists of two folders. Folder 1 contains four minute books for the Manitoba Federation of Agriculture, Arborg Chapter, Women's Section. The first minute book, beginning in 1932, details the activities of the United Farmer's Women of Manitoba of Arborg throughout the 1930s until their name change to the MFA. The second minute book chronicles the group's activities between 1940 and 1947. The third minute book is dated 1947-1950. The final book is dated 1953-1957. Topics covered in the minute books include the group's involvement in the community and various fundraising activities. The second folder contains assorted documents relating to the MFA Women's Section, Arborg Chapter. The folder includes assorted correspondence, newspaper clippings, certificates, and programmes.
