This fonds consists of correspondence between Elinor Black and her friends, family, and colleagues; information about Black's education; medical papers and addresses given by Black; a copy of Black's unpublished book "The Professor and His Wife: The Stoughton Story"; photographs of Black, her friends, and her family; account books; diaries; sketchbooks; a scrapbook; and several small objects belonging to Black.

The collection consists of correspondence, immigration material and certificates, research notes, photographs, and slides dating from 1913 to 2006. The correspondence is predominantly related to Dr. Bihler’s professional activities, with the immigration material and certificates relating to both Ivan and Lenka Magda Bihler. The photograph collection is comprised of portraits and family photographs.

This collection consists of 15 Hollinger boxes and 8 archival shoeboxes of material relating to the history of Seven Oaks General Hospital, including its construction and the construction of the hospital's Wellness Institute. Material relating to the construction and promotion of Seven Oaks and the Wellness Institute is also included in the collection. The majority of the photographs in this collection are of members of the hospital's staff and board members at events in and supporting the hospital. Also included in the collection are copies of the hospital's newsletters, VHS copies of local television programs featuring the hospital, and copies of speeches and other public relations material.

MSS 6, PC 4 consists of twenty four diaries written by G. L. Shanks and a collection of photographs pertaining to Professor Shanks' essay "Philip Grove - His Ability to Describe the Rural Scene."

A1981-016 consists of Shanks' glass slides and printed material.
