The fonds is separated into twelve series. They are: biographical material, correspondence, Ross's research, notes and grant applications, "Joe from Winnipeg," screenplays, scripts and articles, contracts and agreements, reviews, playbills and posters, miscellaneous screenplays given to Ross,a photograph collection (PC 215), audio recordings (TC 123), and a pencil drawing by Leonard Bighetty (MC 19). The photograph collection includes 52 photographs, 5 contact sheets and 1 slide. The audio recordings include 2 cassette tapes - one of "Joe from Winnipeg" episodes and the other an interview with CBC Radio host Terry MacLeod.

Norman Lightfoot fonds

The fonds consists of 25 betacam video cassettes. These contain footage of trips to the Northwest Territories in August-September 1994, as well as June 1995. Included are interviews and footage with Robert Taylor and “Tundra Tom” Faess, who were working as guides on the trips, as well as shots of the landscape and many animals , including arctic hare, black bears, caribou, muskox and wolves. The three series within the fonds are arranged according to the timeframes of the betacam video cassettes: August-September 1994 and June 1995.

The fonds consists of two documents created by the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada. The first is a printout of a document titled Towards A New Paradigm for Scholarly Communication - Discussion Paper prepared by the AUCC-CARL/ABRC Task Force on Academic Libraries and Scholarly Communication which was published in electronic form on the AUCC website, November 8, 1995. This document outlines the problems and opportunities facing academic libraries in regard to academic communication issues in the 1990's. The second document is a published brochure titled the Changing World of Scholarly Communication: Challenges and Choices for Canada and is the final report of the AUCC-CARL/ABRC Task Force on Academic Libraries and Scholarly Communication in November 1996.

The fonds consists of two folders. Folder 1 contains three photocopied articles and the preface from A Chorus of Different Voices: German Canadian Identities, edited by Angelika E. Sauer & Matthias Zimmer, New York: Peter Lang, 1998. A Chorus of Different Voices was based on a workshop that took place in Edmonton in October 1996 with the support of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the German-Canadian Studies Foundation, Winnipeg, the University of Alberta's Faculty of Arts, and the German-Canadian Business and Professional Association of Alberta. The articles are "Deconstructing German-Canadian Identity" by Matthias Zimmer, "As I Experienced Them Myself: The Autobiographical German-language Immigrant Woman in Prairie Canada, 1874- 1910" by Royden Loewen, and "The 'Ideal German Canadian': Politics, Academics and the Historiographical Construction of German-Canadian Identity" by Angelika E. Sauer. All three articles chronicle the German-Canadian immigrant experience, and particularly how the new immigrants attempted to negotiate a position with the host Canadian society. The second folder contains a German newspaper article from the Kanada Kurier, dated September 30, 1999. The article, written in German, is entitled "Denkmalschutz und Ehrengrab: Dr. F. Eckhardts Familien-grabmal in Berlin."
