The records document Hunt's education in engineering at the University of Manitoba in the early 1900s. His work in engineering is also documented, particularly through maps, including the Falcon Lake Park, highways construction, irrigation systems, and others. His service in the military led him to document the history of various rifle regiments, the Officer Training Corps, and field engineering military training, which provides particularly valuable information on the period between World War I and World War II military training.
