Heather Robertson fonds

The collection contains manuscripts, correspondence and research materials relating to the two books The Road Well Kept: Branksome Hall Celebrates 100 Years and Driving Force, My Life With Birds as well as several of Robertson's other projects between 1971 and 2001. The fonds consists of a collection of 14 taped interviews and miscellaneous recordings conducted by Sheila Rabinovitch from approximately 1970 to 1981. The broadcasts range from partial programs to complete and final ones as aired on CBC radio. Also included is her textual research related to the taped interviews in this fonds and those already preserved in a previous donation.

Furthermore, a small amount of textual material related to her personal and professional life are included, such as CBC contracts and documents related to her art collection and philanthropic interests. Broadcast and research subjects include prominent Manitoba personalities such as Ken Leishman, Ralph Connor, E. Cora Hind, Lewis St. George Stubbs, John W. Dafoe, and others that contributed to the artistic, cultural and social environment.

Kenneth McRobbie fonds

The collection contains McRobbie's poetic and historical endeavors. Included are his poetry, publications, activities and translations. Also included are articles and reviews on his work, and correspondence, which span more than three decades. This correspondence is with contacts, both foreign - mainly Hungarian, and domestic. His translations include novels by Laszlo Nagy, Miguel Angel Asturias and Maria Krisztinkovich, and poetry by Ferenc Juhasz, Gyorgy Petri and Miklos Radnoti to name but a few.

Ogilvie Flour Mills Company fonds

The first Ogilvie family mill was erected at Jacques Cartier in 1801. While the collection does not contain records back to the Company's inception, there are land deeds dating back to 1847 and material running concurrently up to 1983. The files include: financial records, income tax returns, shareholders lists, balance sheets, and ledgers. The legal records include deeds, land titles and agreements. The corporate files (including ledgers) consist of Board of Directors minutes, annual reports, letters patent, and correspondence from several Ogilvie Flour Mills Co. Ltd. presidents. There are administrative records that offer a glimpse into the day-to-day running of a flour mill with renovation costs and personnel files. The fond contains bound volumes of The Jolly Miller, the Company's publication.
