The 2005 accession consists of biographical information, correspondence, research material from the Vatican, Viennese, Czech, and Hungarian Archives (photocopies), research material on Carpatho-Ukraine (Subcarpathia) region, material on his courses at the University of Manitoba, and UVAN (Ukrainian Academy of Arts and Sciences) documentation. The tape collection consists of 8 audio-cassettes featuring recordings of Andrej Sakharov's visit to Winnipeg on February 17, 1989, audio recordings of Ukrainian-Canadian Conferences and Ukrainian visitors to Winnipeg. The 2008 accession consists of Reverend Baran's identification documents, education documents, travel documents, material on his awards and honors, his father's (Viktor Baran) diary, and a photograph collection consisting of 208 photographs depicting his childhood and 50 years of priesthood. Also included is a CD containing digital reproductions of items in the fonds.

The fonds consists of two documents created by the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada. The first is a printout of a document titled Towards A New Paradigm for Scholarly Communication - Discussion Paper prepared by the AUCC-CARL/ABRC Task Force on Academic Libraries and Scholarly Communication which was published in electronic form on the AUCC website, November 8, 1995. This document outlines the problems and opportunities facing academic libraries in regard to academic communication issues in the 1990's. The second document is a published brochure titled the Changing World of Scholarly Communication: Challenges and Choices for Canada and is the final report of the AUCC-CARL/ABRC Task Force on Academic Libraries and Scholarly Communication in November 1996.

Margaret Avison fonds

The initial collection consists of several hundred unpublished poems written by Margaret Avison between 1935 and the late 1970s. The second accession, received in 1996, consists of correspondence from various literary associates between the 1950s and the mid-1990s. In several instances other writers and poets send samples of their work for Avison's comments. There is a lengthy correspondence between Avison and the American poet Fredrick Bock. The Collection includes two theses about the works of Margaret Avison and several of her unpublished essays and poems.

The third accrual consists of photographs, audiotapes, and material relating to Avison's work such as worksheets, manuscripts, published copies, and reviews. It also includes correspondence from the 1980s to 2001.

The fonds consists of five audio cassettes of interviews conducted by University of Manitoba archivist Richard E. Bennett. Interviewees include: C.E. L'Ami (January 31, 1980); Margaret Hamilton Bach who speaks about the psychical research of Thomas Glendenning Hamilton (November 26, 1980); John D. Mundie, professor of business administration, and dean of the Asper School of Business who speaks about the Faculty of Management at the University of Manitoba (November 25, 1986); and poet Anne Marriott (1913-1997) who is interviewed at her home in North Vancouver, B.C., (February 14, 1989).

The first accession (A.00-41) has been arranged into 4 series. They include biographical materials, manuscripts, reviews, and correspondence. The 2008 accession (A.08-79) has also been arranged into four series: prewriting and notes, drafts and manuscripts, newspaper clippings and reviews, as well as photographs and videocassettes. Included are notes, pre-writing, and drafts of Bergen's most recent works including The Retreat, The Time In Between, and The Case of Lena S. The fonds also contains correspondence, newspaper reviews of Bergen's novels, as well as photographs from the Giller Prize ceremony, among other records.

The fonds contains textual, photographic and digital records. The textual records include handwritten and typewritten correspondence relating to séances and spirit communication between family members. The photographs are black and white and color images of members of the Campbell and Hamilton families. The digital records consist of one compact disc of scanned images of family members and another compact disc with scanned copies of minutes relating to the Sylvia Barber séances (A.10-82). There are 32 physical photographs and 277 digital photographs comprising the photograph collection.

1998-031 is comprised of glass lantern slides that Buller used for lectures and teaching.

2004-025 contains personal and professional correspondence of Dr. Buller’s. It also contains hand painted wall charts created by and under the direction of Buller for use in his classes and lectures.

2004-096 contains numerous objects used for scientific experiments and imaging by Dr. Buller. There are also numerous glass lantern slides which he used for lectures and teaching.

2005-095 is comprised of glass lantern slides that Buller used for lectures and teaching.

2007-062 contains an array of photographs, illustrations, and manuscripts relating to Buller’s research and publications. It also includes many of Buller’s notebooks from his own education at Mason Science College.

2008-062 contains personal correspondence of Buller’s with various parties, mainly from the early 1900s.

2013-113 one card catalogue by Office Specialty Manufacturing Company limited.

2013-134 involves Buller’s cremation and his remains. The urn is enclosed in the Tyndall stone monument in front of the Buller Biological Laboratories at the University of Manitoba Fort Garry campus. The plaque in this accession was previously installed at the Cereal Research Centre where Buller’s remains were held.

2013-143 consists of a wide range of ephemera and documents from Buller. It includes attendee pins and luggage tags as well as several maps, correspondence and drafts relating to Fungi of Manitoba, and Buller’s applications for several teaching positions from the early 1900s.

2014-003 consists primarily of lithographed wall charts purchased by Buller for teaching during his tenure at the University. There are also court records from a real estate dispute and a poem.

2014-120 consists of lantern slides which Buller used for his lectures and presentations.

2018-119 a filing cabinet for large format documents. Dr. Buller used this to store his wall charts.
