Biographical history

George Robert Farrar Prowse was born in 1860. He took up teaching in 1907 and later became a principal. He had many editorials published in the <i>Winnipeg Free Press</i>, along with a few articles. Prowse died in 1946.

Custodial history

The fonds was donated to University of Manitoba Archives & Special Collections in 1984 by Mr. Prowse's family.

Scope and content

The fonds consists of pages from a scrapbook containing newsclippings of articles and editorials written by G.R.F. Prowse, drafts of literary works, and correspondence.
