Custodial history

Both accessions were donated by Ely Bronstein in 2012 and 2015 to the University of Manitoba. The 2012-027 accession was separated into two fonds: the Ely Bronstein fonds and the Ada Bronstein fonds (description pending). The engravings in this last accession were placed within the Ely Bronstein fonds, with the remaining materials making part of the Ada Bronstein fonds.

Scope and content

Records consist of artwork and textual records acquired by Bronstein, as well as textual material which documents and contextualizes these acquisitions. Also included are family records originating from Russia, as well as a compilation tape of the film "Lost Horizon".
