Biographical history

Doreen Helen Klassen was born in 1944. Klassen received a Master of Arts degree at the University of Manitoba in Anthropology, and a Doctorate at Indiana University. She is currently a Professor of Social/Cultural Studies at Sir Wilfred Grenfell College, Memorial University.

Custodial history

The fonds was donated to University of Manitoba Archives and Special Collections in 2008 by Doreen Klassen.

Scope and content

The fonds contains several type-written letters from Dr. Paul Hiebert to Doreen Klassen. In addition, Klassen's paper entitled "Reflections on Dr. Paul Hiebert,"€ which she presented at the Manitoba Mennonite Historical Society meeting in 1987, is also included in the fonds.
