Administrative history

The Manitoba Health Libraries Association (MHLA) was established in 1977 to promote the provision of quality library service to the health community in Manitoba by communication and mutual assistance and has been a chapter of the Canadian Health Libraries Association (CHLA) since 1979. In 2002, MHLA changed its name to the Manitoba Association of Health Information Providers (MAHIP).
