Custodial history

From the 1980s to the mid-1990s, early C.A.L.L. records were housed in both the York University Library and the National Archives of Canada. Records from the York University Library were then transferred to the National Office in Kingston. In 2005, C.A.L.L. materials from the National Archives were sent to the E.K. Williams Law Library and in 2010 the National Office documents joined them. By the summer of 2010, all C.A.L.L. records had been donated to University of Manitoba Archives & Special Collections. Subsequent accruals were donated to the archives, the latest in 2014. Transitory and duplicated material has been culled from the accrual.
